In March 2024, Palu Municipality experienced inflation (y to y) of 2.41 percent

Head of BPS Palu City GA Nasser said, In March 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Palu City of 2.41 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.44.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.50 percent; housing, water, electricity and materials groups household burns of 0.70 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 0.24 percent; transportation group by 0.90 percent; information, communication and financial services group amounting to 0.06 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.16 percent; education group at 0.58 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.72 percent; and the personal care and services group others amounted to 3.72 percent.

Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were the clothing and footwear group by 0.39 percent; and the health group at 0.59 percent.

"The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Palu City in March 2024 are 0.56 percent and 0.93 percent, respectively." Said GA Nasser, Monday (1/4).
