Lolu Selatan Subdistrict Office Inaugurated, Accompanied by the Declaration of Cantik Subdistrict

PALU – Mayor of Palu, Hadianto Rasyid, accompanied by his deputy, Dr. Reny A. Lamadjido, inaugurated the South Lolu Subdistrict Office, in the yard of the local subdistrict office, Wednesday (27/07).

The inauguration was marked by the signing of the South Lolu District Office inscription by the Mayor of Palu.

According to Hadianto, this sub-district office displays a slightly different shape, but does not abandon the existing elements of local wisdom and culture.

"This shows that we are trying to update ourselves with the current situation and conditions," he said.

He hopes that this office can be a trigger and trigger for all sub-district officials to be able to work more moderately, more modernly, more updated and truly able to meet expectations in accordance with the needs of current conditions.

The inauguration of the office was also coupled with the declaration of South Lolu Village as Love Statistics Village (Cantik Village) by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

According to Hadi, this is a very big and very good innovation carried out by BPS Central Sulawesi Province through BPS Palu City.

"We are trying to update data and the real conditions of our community. The problem is that this year we have also sent a team to conduct a survey. It's just that the process is still ongoing. "I hope this survey can really run well," he said.

By knowing the real conditions of the community, he continued, the Palu City Government knows very well what the community needs.

He said, from the information obtained through BPS, it will be known how many people are in the unemployed category or people who are at the pre-prosperous family level.

“We will also find out what the health condition of our community is. "So all conditions in our society will really be included in accurate data collection," he continued.

He said that by knowing what steps must be taken, the government can also know what preventive steps to take.

According to him, it will be easier when the Government takes preventive or prevention steps rather than taking recovery steps.

Hadianto hopes that the launch of the Cantik Village will not only be at the South Lolu Village Office, but can also be implemented in other sub-districts.

Because what BPS is doing is a form of corporate social responsibility provided by BPS Central Sulawesi Province for the City of Palu.

“This must also be followed by other sub-districts. Therefore, I hope that we can strengthen that. In this budget, we will formalize the changes for sub-district offices. "So that the office is modern, then the services in it are supported," he hoped.
