Abstract

The increase in the price index occurred in the foodstuffs group (0.79 percent), followed by the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group (0.30 percent), the health group (0.27 percent), the transportation, communication and financial services group (0.11 percent), the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group (0.05 percent), and the education, recreation and sports group (0.01 percent). While the clothing group experienced a price index decline of 0.24 percent.

The calendar year inflation in November 2019 against December 2018 was 1.46 percent, while the year on year inflation (November 2019 against November 2018) was 2.58 percent.
