Abstract

Forecast Figures II (ARAM II) Central Sulawesi Province in rice production in 2015 is estimated at 1,048,242 tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG), an increase of 26 188 tonnes (2.56 percent) compared with production in 2014 reaching 1,022,054 tons of paddy. Increased production in 2015 is expected due to an increase in productivity by 1.78 quintal / hectare (3.83 percent), while harvested area is expected to fall by 2,668 hectares (-1.21 percent).

ARAM II 2015 maize production is estimated at 137 540 tons of dry seed, a decrease of 32 663 tons (-19.19 per cent) compared with production in 2014 reaching 170 203 tonnes of dry seed. The decrease was due to a decrease in harvested area of 7573 ha (-18.18 percent) and productivity of 0.50 ku / ha (-1.22 percent).
