Abstract

• Preliminary figures (ASEM) in rice production in Central Sulawesi province in 2015 amounted to 1,015,368 tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG), fell by 6686 tons (0.65 percent) compared to the production in 2014 reached 1,022,054 tons. The decline in rice production in 2015 due to a decrease in harvested area of 10 556 hectares (-4.81 percent), while productivity rose by 2.03 quintal / hectare (4.36 percent).
• ASEM 2015 corn production at 131 123 tonnes of dry seed, fell by 39 080 tons (-22.96 percent) compared with production in 2014 reaching 170 203 tonnes. The decrease was due to a decrease in harvested area of 9144 ha (-21.96 percent) and produktivitaspun fell by 0.53 ku / ha (-1.29 percent).
