Abstract

• The Farmers Term of Trades (NTP) of Central Sulawesi Province during May 2019 was 94.52 percent, up 0.44 percent compared to the NTP last month. This was due to an increase in NTP in the horticultural sub-sector by 1.73 percent, the smallholder plantation sub-sector by 1.63 percent, and the livestock sub-sector by 0.67 percent.

• The price index received by farmers (It) increased by 1.19 percent while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rose by 0.75 percent.

• The highest FTT occurs in the horticulture sub-sector by 107.36 percent, while the lowest FTT occurs in the smallholder plantation sub-sector by 84.53 percent.
