Abstract

The Central Sulawesi Farmer's Trade Rate (NTP) during May 2017 was 93.96 percent, down 0.88 percent compared to last month's NTP. This was due to the decrease of NTP in the food crops sub-sector (2.10 percent), horticulture sub-sector (1.98 percent), and smallholder plantation sub-sector (0.62 percent).
The price index received by farmers (It) fell by 0.74 percent while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rose by 0.13 percent.
The highest NTP occurred in the horticulture sub-sector by 111.37 percent, while the lowest NTP occurred in the subsector of smallholder plantations by 81.80 percent.
Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of 104.02 percent or decreased by 0.86 percent compared to April 2017.
At the national level, NTP in May 2017 increased by 0.14 percent, as did NTUP in May 2017, up by 0.49 percent.
Farmer's Farmer Exchange Rate and Farmer's Rate of Trade at the national level in May 2017 were 100.15 and 109.15, respectively.
