Susenas produces a variety of cross-sectoral statistics that are supported: School participation and reading and writing skills for education; Health assistance, provision of health facilities, health insurance, breastfeeding for under two years, and immunization for children under five for the health sector; birth attendants, age of first marriage, family planning participation, and the average number of children supported for fertility and family planning; Housing conditions, sources of air for drinking, cooking, bathing and washing for housing; Cellphone ownership, internet access in the use of information technology, and government assistance / programs for the welfare of the community.
Susenas also collects consumption and household data for both food and food commodities. From these data obtained the average consumption and expenditure of households and the average consumption of calories and protein per capita. Consumption and expenditure data broken down by group can provide a picture of population consumption patterns in an area.
