Abstract

The inflation rate for the December 2018 calendar year and year on year inflation (December 2018 against December 2017) was recorded at 6.46 percent.

The price index increase occurred in the foodstuffs group (2.67 percent), transportation, communication and financial services (1.76 percent), health (0.83 percent), housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel (0.75 percent), processed food, drinks, cigarettes and tobacco (0.26 percent), as well as education, recreation and sports (0.16 percent). While the only decline in the price index occurred in the clothing group (0.60 percent).
