Abstract

Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) is held three times in 10 years. Based on the 2018 Podes results, there were 2,020 village administration areas in Sulawesi Tengah Province consisting of 1,842 villages, 175 villages, and 3 UPT / SPT. Podes also recorded 175 sub-districts and 13 districts / cities.

BPS calculates the Village Development Index (IPD) which shows the level of village development in the categories of being independent, developing, and lagging. The higher the IPD, the more independent the village is. Number of independent villages 46 (2.50 percent), developing villages 1,528 (82.95 percent), and villages lagging behind 268 (14.55 percent),
