Abstract

Central Sulawesi's economy measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in Q2 / 2017 reached Rp 33,637 billion and at constant 2010 prices reached 24,579 billion.
  • The economy of Central Sulawesi in the first half of 2017 compared to the first semester of 2016 (c-to-c) grew 5.29 percent compared to the same period in 2016. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Financial Services and Insurance business field of 10.29 Percent, while in terms of expenditures occurred in components Export of Goods and Services that grew 40.12 percent.
  • The economy of Central Sulawesi in the second quarter of 2017 grew 6.61 percent compared to the same period in 2016. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Mining and Excavation business field of 11.35 percent , While in terms of expenditure occurs in the component Export of Goods and Services that grew 21.97 percent.
  • The economy of Central Sulawesi in quarter II-2017 against the previous quarter (q-to-q) grew by 6.44 percent. In terms of production, this growth is due to the mining and quarrying field which grew 17.72 percent. While in terms of expenditure is more due to the increase in the performance of components Export of Goods and Services (23.75 percent).
  • Sulampua economic structure spatially in the first half-2017 is dominated by provincial groups on the island of Sulawesi. Provinces on Sulawesi Island contributed the most to the Gross Regional Domestic Product Sulampua, which amounted to 71.21 percent, followed by Papua Island by 22.79 percent and Maluku Islands 6 percent. While the highest growth was achieved by Papua Province 9.24 percent (q-to-q), Southeast Sulawesi 7.03 percent (y-on-y) and Southeast Sulawesi 7.54 percent (c-to-c).
