Abstract

During December 2015, the entire city of monitoring national CPI inflation. The highest inflation was in the city of Merauke by 2.87 percent, while the lowest inflation occurred in Cirebon by 0.27 percent. Palu city experienced inflation of 1.96 percent, ranking 6th nationally and 4th in Region Sulampua.

The increase in the price index in the category of food expenditure (7.34 percent), housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel (0.79 percent), transportation, communications, and financial services (0.75 percent), processed food , beverages, cigarettes and tobacco (0.70 percent), and health (0.53 percent). While the decline in the price index in the category of clothing expenditure by 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, the price index of education expenditure groups, recreation, and sport is relatively stable.

The inflation rate of the calendar year until December 2015 and the inflation rate year on year (December 2015 to December 2014) respectively by 4.17 percent.
